I have long admired Abdus Salam, and find it a great pity that children in Pakistan are not better acquainted with the life and work of this extremely inspiring man. So, it gave me especial joy to organize this essay contest, in collaboration with Imperial College London.
The winners of the inaugural contest were announced, and the entries displayed, during a historical exhibition that took place at the Imperial College campus on January 29, 2024. The contest was such a success, we decided to make it an annual event. Submissions are now open for 2025! Details here.
